Flush - Glossary Term

The Flush ranks fifth on the scale of poker hands and consists of five cards of the same suit. When comparing two flushes, the highest card determines which hand wins. If the highest cards are equal then the second highest card is compared; if those are equal too, then the third highest card, and so on. For example Queen, Jack, 8, 5 and 3 of spades beats Queen, Jack, 8, 5 and 2 of hearts because the three beats the two.
