SubscribeThe game of Roulette is easy to learn and exciting to play. Roulette is played on two areas, the betting area or layout, and the Roulette Wheel.
The Roulette wheel consists of 38 compartments numbered 1 to 36. These are coloured red and black. There are also two zero compartments, 0 and 00, and these are green in colour.
The game begins with Players placing bets on the numbered layout. The Dealer then spins the Roulette wheel in one direction and tosses a small ball in from the opposite direction. Players can continue to place bets until the ball actually falls onto the spinning wheel.
The ball will eventually land in a single numbered compartment. This determines the winning number, and bets are then paid accordingly.
Roulette Tips:
- The first rule of Roulette is caution! On a bad day, no sum of money or degree of skill can make you a winner. Don't persist. Cut your losses early.
- A corner bet is always a reliable choice. It's placed at the intersection of four numbers and it pays 8 to 1.
- Avoid distributing your bets across the layout. Try to keep them limited so you can keep better tabs on them and so that conflicting wagers do not occur.
- Instead of betting 5 coins on one number, try placing 1 coin on the number itself and 1 coin on each of the four corners bordering that number. It improves your chances dramatically.
- Keep clear of the five bet. This bet can be made in only one place and covers five numbers: 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3.
- Beware the 0 and 00, as they wipe out all outside bets.
- Pay careful attention to the different minimums across the layout.
- Be on the lookout for bets that allow surrender, as you allow yourself an easy escape route.
