With this new innovative and spectacular laser game light beams are shot in different directions randomly. The player(s) needs to hit the beams with a "Laser Stick". Every time a player hits a beam, the stick lights up, vibrates, success sounds are heard and all kind of lights emerge from the surroundings. The quicker the player hits the beam, the more points he gets.
Attractive spectacle
The setup of the laser and the sounds generated by the software, is very enjoyable for spectators to see and hear. It is a perfect combination to use a laser with an easy to understand and fun-to-play game.
If one player is not fast enough, the laser beam disappears and he gets no points, then it's the turn of the other player. During the game the score is visible on a TFT screen in the centre and sounds and lighting effects accompany players actions.
Lasersquash is a perfect combination of high-tech and fun, combined in a new game. It's also very suitable for squash-and fitness clubs because it improves flexibility, reaction speed and physical endurance.
One or two players
LaserSquash can be played with one or two players and the game level is adjustable using a touch screen display or simple buttons. The gameplay is influenced by the way people play and is reacting on the speed of the players and always fits well to the fastest player.
Adrenaline
LaserSquash evolves into a real fast and exhausting play when the players hit all beams quickly and successfully. LaserSquash is extremely spectacular to watch and adrenaline kicks when played.
Flexible game settings
The software is designed for maximum flexibility while the actually players are presented with a very simple touch screen user interface. There is also a possibility to use a simplified input with buttons or to have a special "operator" input panel. Almost all aspects of the game are settable by the "system administrator". You can think of simple settings like speed, the length of time the beam is shown, time the game can be played etc.
Also more advanced settings are adjustable like automatic stepping up of speed/frequency when the player hits all beams. This is especially fun in the two player mode since the level will go up for both players. Also all kind of fun sounds and words can be set by the system administrator which are heard when beams are hit, missed or high scores are reached.
LaserStick
The laser Stick is made of polycarbonate. This material is extremely shock proof and almost unbreakable (e.g. used for bullet proof windows). The light weight stick weights approximately the same as a modern tennis racket. The stick has nice features: It vibrates when a beam is hit, simulating the impact of a "heavy" beam and a string of LED's light up. Playing the laser beam causes a sparkling light effect in the LaserStick. You will se a lighting effect in the air.
With a fully loaded battery, you can play approximately ten hours. When the stick is placed in its holder it will automatically loaded.
Decoration and theming
Best solution is when the game is positioned in a themed environment. It makes the game special and it attracts people and invites them to play.

This product is based on an international patent Laserpromotions established on the principle in 2001. It was officially launched at TiLE2004 in Maastricht in June 2004 were it won an award for 'Excellence in Innovation. The production game is deliverable since February 2005
