LCI are known world wide for the spectacular projects that we have developed and installed.
Handling both the full creative and design elements LCI are able to bring together the complex threads of a multi media installation to create an exciting and entertaining product. Such projects have included Theme Park shows in the USA, Europe and Asia, as well as indoor multi media displays such as the 'Wallanganda' zoo project in Holland. These projects obviously form our highest profile work, but are by no means the only activity that LCI is involved with. There is also a continuous stream of Event work that keeps both the Technical and Creative experts busy.
LCI provide a unique service when it comes to event work. The diversity of technical and creative solutions that our team have employed over the years is hard to express in a short article. From large scale theme park spectaculars featuring floating mountains and incredible pyrotechnic displays to subtle lighting aboard The Cutty Sark, we've handled every kind of event there is.

Any technology (AV, lighting, projection, water, lasers, special effects and display technology) is considered in our design solutions. Recently we dreamt up a solution for the launch of Nikes new product - the 'Airmax 360'. As well as projecting images and a countdown clock onto their London store, LCI had a mobile video projection unit driving around the city with an animation of the walking shoes. This eye catching 'event' even won an advertising award for Nike!
Another recent event at this years Monaco F1 Grand Prix featured lighting onboard a luxury yacht that was used by British American Tobacco (sponsors of the Formula One Honda motor racing team). LCI were commissioned to illuminate the 150 foot 'Eleonora' which was used for 5 nights while BAT entertained members of the team and their guests.
The music industry regularly uses LCI and our list of clients features many international acts including Madonna, Coldplay, Red Hot Chilly Peppers, The Spice Girls and Robbie Williams. This work has involved concert lighting and effects as well as promotional drives, promotional videos and album launches. At the other end of the musical spectrum LCI has also been involved in productions with The Royal Opera and several West End Musicals.

Monumental projections onto buildings are always a popular solution to getting a message across and LCI have a huge amount of experience in this field. For the launch of the Sony Play Station game 'Shadow of the Colossus' we were commissioned to project both the game itself and supporting messages onto prominent buildings in cities across the UK.
Players in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh were given the chance to try this exciting game while it was projected onto buildings. The event and the game were also promoted with slide projections and lasers. This stunning 'event' attracted a lot of attention and press coverage as well as engaging many interested players in an unforgettable way, leading to guaranteed 'word of mouth' promotion.
Many Tourism offices around the UK have begun to look for exciting ways to increase their profile and LCI have been well placed to provide a solution with spectacular Son Et Lumiere shows. At Rochester we were able to enjoy creating a dramatic show, projecting video onto the Castle and Cathedral, and utilising lighting, lasers and flame effects to bring alive the history of the area.
At Canterbury Cathedral we delivered a very different kind of show based on the work of the nations favourite painter, JMW Turner. Using the Cathedral itself as our canvass we were able to combine beautiful lighting effects and images of Turners finest work, all set to the music of Mussorgsky, Faure and Grieg. This show was featured in detail on mainstream television news reports (BBC and Independent News).

London's famous Kew gardens commissioned LCI for a Christmas show. LCI provided projection onto the famous Palm House and used lighting and Laser effects to combine with a looped sound track of Christmas songs and Carols. The show complimented the beautiful setting and surprised and delighted the audience.
Monumental Slide Projections are an eye catching way for many companies to promote their products and support major advertising campaigns. British Airways, Virgin, The NSPCC, Yahoo, Microsoft and Nike, are just some of the companies we have worked for over the past year. Samsung took their product launch much further.
For their event LCI were asked to organise and produce a multi layered evenings entertainment for VIPs and journalists. This featured a film screening at the London IMAX theatre, a spectacular show on the river Thames with video, lasers and fireworks, and a trip on the London Eye (themed for the evening) to give views of the multiple projections of Samsung advertising and branding that were happening around the area of Westminster.

Of course some of our events have lasted for months, such as the Saudi Arabian Summer festivals in Abha (which were full blown Spectacular Water Shows, running nightly for several months) and the Nike World Cup projections which involved a dozen projection teams working their way across Europe, in London, Berlin, Rome, Madrid, Amsterdam, Bucharest and many other cities.

Many Event and Installation projects are being worked on at present. Everyone at LCI is looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead.
